Lacuna House, located on a corner plot in Mohali, Punjab, is a contemporary multi-generational residence designed by Varun Garg Architects. Inspired by the idea of a “lacuna” a gap or nichet he house uses sculpted recesses to create depth, bring natural light into the interiors and reduce the visual mass of the façade. Its Vastu-compliant planning balances shared family spaces with privacy, while strong visual connections, natural ventilation and carefully placed openings make the home feel open and breathable. The interiors follow a warm Scandinavian-inspired palette of wood, soft creams and muted greens, creating a calm, functional and timeless luxury home.
